Description
The AX-4 is a compact 79 GHz millimeter-wave radar sensor designed for reliable detection of vehicles and pedestrians. Its weather-independent radar technology allows object detection within a configurable zone of up to 6 by 3 meters. The detection signals are output via two switch contacts, one normally open and one normally closed. The sensor remains in the switch state as long as a vehicle or person is detected and also supports directional detection.
With a compact housing measuring 108 by 74 by 18 millimeters, the AX-4 is easy to install using an 18 millimeter mounting hole and a locknut. Configuration is done via Bluetooth using a free mobile app available for iOS and Android. The app allows for live monitoring and adjustment of settings and detection zones.
