Product specifications
Description
The LZR-H100 is a laser scanner that offers a reliable and efficient alternative to induction loops for automatic barrier systems. Designed for opening, safety monitoring, and presence detection, this sensor uses four laser curtains to create a three-dimensional detection zone, enabling highly accurate object detection.
The detection field can be freely configured to meet specific site requirements, with a maximum coverage of 9.9 m by 9.9 m—allowing both width and depth of the zones to be finely adjusted.
The sensor detects all types of vehicles, including passenger cars, electric vehicles, and trucks with trailers. It can also track the movement direction of approaching or departing vehicles, enabling targeted opening and enhanced safety. A built-in pedestrian filter ensures the barrier only opens for vehicles, ignoring foot traffic and parallel movement.
Installation of the LZR-H100 is simple and does not require invasive groundwork, significantly reducing time and cost compared to traditional induction loops. The sensor is housed in a robust IP65-rated enclosure, ensuring reliable performance in a wide range of environmental conditions.
Features
Technical data
Mounted in an Aluminium Housing
- The laser scanner is mounted horizontally within a freestanding pillar
- A fixed post with reflective foilis required if a wall cannot be used as a reference object
Mounted on the Console
- The laser scanner is installed horizontally within an aluminium housing, which is securely mounted onto the barrier’s console
- If there is no wall with reflective foil to serve as a reference object, a fixed pole with reflective foil is required for proper operation
Configurations and Practical Guidelines
The laser scanner is an optical sensor used for detecting people and objects within a monitored area
