What can Scan&Go BASIC do for You?

Scan&Go BASIC is our entry-level solution for plug-and-play, stand-alone QR access control. This system was specifically developed to keep unauthorized vehicles and pedestrians out of parking areas and buildings, while providing controlled access to visitors, customers, suppliers, and employees.

It operates more efficiently and cost-effectively than coin-operated systems. Since no computer, software, or data network is required, installation and commissioning are exceptionally fast and relatively low in cost. In addition, Scan&Go BASIC guarantees excellent reliability with minimal maintenance and service costs.

Standalone controller with CCD scanner and LCD screen, mounted on a UV-resistant nylon frame, protected by a scratch-resistant window. Independently interprets ticket validity embedded in QR codes.

Traditional Solutions

Traditional access control often relies on a wired or wireless network. This introduces costly drawbacks, as such systems require cabling, software, and/or wireless communication equipment.

Avoid Complexity

With Scan&Go, no data network is required by default – only electrical power. This eliminates all the drawbacks associated with wired or wireless systems.

Choose S&G Efficiency

Ticket validity is embedded directly in the 2D code. As a result, it is the 2D code that determines the duration and frequency of ticket usage, without any need for communication over your data network.

Situation

Problems - Needs

  2. Cash Register - Counter: Offline QR printer. Tickets, valid for one time, 30 minutes.
  3. Exit: Offline scanner column. Scan the QR ticket in time.

Scenario

The entrance barrier opens after presence detection. Before leaving the premises, customers receive an exit ticket at the counter, which the QR code contains a validity period (for example, 30 minutes, one-time use), and they scan this QR code in a timely manner at the scanner column. Once the validity period of the QR code has expired, people can no longer exit the parking lot without requesting a new ticket.

Comments

  • All of the above products operate offline/standalone.
  • Offline reports are available via the counter printer.
  • The exit scanner retrieves validity from the QR code, without any form of data communication. 230 V is sufficient for all components of this installation.

Autoparking of a commercial business that also welcomes customers by bike or on foot.

Visitors take a QR ticket at the entrance, which contains the date and time of arrival. Before leaving the premises, customers have their entry ticket scanned by the validator. Only when scanning a valid entry ticket does the validator print an exit ticket with limited validity for the exit scanner (for example, 30 minutes, one-time use). Once the validity period has expired, people can no longer leave the parking lot without requesting a new ticket.

  • All of the above products operate offline/standalone.
  • The validator and the exit scanner retrieve the validity from the QR, without any form of data communication. 230 V is sufficient.
  • This solution implies that an exit ticket can only be obtained in exchange for an entry ticket. Cyclists/pedestrians do not receive an entry ticket and therefore cannot pass one on.
  • Offline reports are available via the validator. However, connect the validator to the internet and generate online reports regarding all events while the entry and exit controllers still operate offline.

  2. Cash register - Counter: Offline APD validator. Scan a valid entry ticket. Receive an exit ticket.
  3. Exit: Offline scanner terminal. Scan the QR receipt in time.

Workflow

People take a QR ticket at the entrance, which contains the date and time of arrival within the QR code. Before leaving the premises, customers have their entry ticket scanned by the APD. In the case of a valid entry ticket, the APD automatically prints an exit ticket. In the case of an expired entry ticket, the APD displays an amount due and prints a payment receipt that serves as the exit ticket (for example, 30 minutes, one-time use). Once the validity period of the QR payment receipt has expired, people can no longer leave the parking lot without returning to the cashier.

Scenario

Customers receive a QR invitation via email, which contains an access validity corresponding to the scheduled appointment. Upon arrival, the customer scans their electronic QR (smartphone) or printed QR at the entry pillar within this validity period. Before leaving the premises, customers have their entry ticket scanned by the validator. Only upon scanning a valid entry QR does the validator print an exit ticket with limited validity for the exit scanner (for example, 30 minutes, one-time use). Application

Apartments, offices, government buildings, etc., with parking in a densely populated area.

  • How to ensure that visitors leave the parking lot within a maximum allowed time after their visit?

Solution

  1. Entrance: Offline Printer Column. Visitors take a ticket - Residents enter using RFID.
  2. Common Private Hallway: Offline Desktop printer. Visitors take a ticket before leaving the hallway.
  3. Exit: Offline Scanner Column. Visitors scan their "private hallway ticket" - Residents drive out using ANPR.

Scenario

Residents enter via RFID. Visitors take an entry ticket, park their car, and gain access to their host’s shared private entrance via the intercom. Upon leaving, the visitor prints an exit ticket in that same corridor using the counter printer and proceeds to his/her car, scans this ticket at the exit column, and thus exits the parking. When the host is not present, the visitor exits the parking by scanning his/her entry ticket at the exit column, within the validity period.

  • The exit ticket for visitors can also be distributed at our pedestrian printer kiosk. Contact us for more info.
  • For the residents, the identification technology RFID can be replaced by ANPR.

Software
